The Hartwell Center is pleased to announce the installation of gridMathematica to the IBM Linux Cluster.

What is gridMathematica ?

gridMathematica provides a quick way to set up and run large calculations by offering a high-level programming language, a vast collection of fast and reliable mathematical algorithms, and easy-to-use parallel programming constructs. The Hartwell Center IBM Cluster has an 8-node license.

How Can I use gridMathematica?

Typical uses of gridMathematica include processing and analysis of large data sets, data mining, and large computations. The Mathematica Information Center URL

http://library.wolfram.com/infocenter/Articles/Science/Biology/?page=1;pages_count=100000 provides 60 Articles describing how Mathematica can be used in the Life Sciences.

Where can I get Mathematica Training?

Wolfram Education Group now offers specialized mini-courses, written and taught by senior Mathematica developers. These short and focused courses are designed to help you learn about and gain insight in areas such as numerical computation, statistical analysis, authoring technical documents, connection technologies, and much more.
