Welcome!

Welcome to the Molecular Biotechnology division of the Hartwell Center for Bioinformatics & Biotechnology.   This new division is the academic component of the Hartwell Center and is committed to advancing the informatics and technologies encompassed by the Center.   The research activities of the division focus on developing applied and technological advances in the areas of high-throughput biotechnologies including microarray technology, proteomics, mass spectrometry, and bioinformatics.   We employ the substantial biotechnology & bioinformatics resources of the Hartwell Center to further these research programs.   These include state-of-the-art instrumentation and expertise in high-throughput DNA sequence analysis, macromolecular synthesis, cDNA microarray analysis, Affymetrix GeneChip analysis, proteomics, mass spectrometry, molecular interaction analysis, and bioinformatics.

The department is co-located with the Hartwell Center in the Danny Thomas Research Center on the St. Jude Campus.
