- EditSeq - Utility for importing unusual file types Enables you to work on nucleic acid and protein sequences of all sizes from a variety of formats
- GeneQuest - Gene finding Locate genes, regulatory elements, patterns and structure in your primary DNA sequence
- BLAST and Text Searching - Search multiple BLAST and Entrez text databases via an integrated internet connection.
Class 2
- PrimerSelect - Oligo primer design Oligonucleotide Design and Analysis
- SeqMan Pro - sequence assembly and SNP discovery Sequencing Manager, Sequence Assembly, Contig Management, and SNP Discovery
- MegAlign - sequence alignment Multiple and Pairwise Alignment of Nucleic acid or polypeptide sequences
- Protean - protein structure analysis & prediction Predict and display patterns, secondary structural characteristics and physicochemical properties of protein sequences
